What happened at city council last night, (Ralph) gave our 57 million dollar sewer plant to the county. It was done in Holzkamp stile with no public comments, a vote , then give it to cousin TOM.This City looks like a Mel Brooks Comedy of the gang who couldn't shoot straight. We are cash poor , the county has no money to pay 57 million but they need a place to dump sewage. Any one who knows that biasness would make that a very profitable place, where else you gonna go. This should wait for the new board instead of the current board who put us in this mess.
The roads are a mess, code enforcement does nothing , Len Baron has no idea what he is doing . What a shame, we have one of the most beautiful and navigable harbors on the sound yet the idiots who see a future of Glen Cove can not see past this cash crunch.maybe a good bankrupcy would help these idiots !
Dan Moynihan

Last nights meeting was an true Holzkamp stile, sneak it through, Give away the sewage plant to Nassau county ? Ralph has been saying that Sewage was our savior only one month ago. We are worried about 2000 new families sewage from Avalon and now we are taking on the whole North Shore for free.
The numbers were between 42 million to 52 million dollars that the plant is now worth. We get nothing except 10 years of no sewage bill.
We are strapped for cash, our roads are torn up all over the place. I will pay my sewage bill , Get the cash !!!!!! if it is even feasible to put that much sewerage grey water into the creak with out killing what is left of Hempstead harbor.
RALPH, YOU PROMISED MORE FISHES IN THE Creek NOT MORE FECES IN THE CREEK.
Dan Moynihan

Let me clarify The Holtzcamp Administration mismanaged the city finances, by not raising taxes drafting and approving various city budgets based on wish list revenue.former mayor was warned by the state comptroller but non the less stayed the course. Hoping for the SIXTEEN STORY Waterfront permits/ development to help bail the city out. It is simple If you spend more then you bring in you run out of money. The tax increases In no way will bail the city out of debt it will just keep the city running. Please reply im interisted to read your opinion on the matter.

Fellow Glen Covers.
I had great hopes for a new building administration in Glen Cove and although I did not vote for mayor Suozzi I really did have great hopes for him and the future of Glen Cove.
More recently I have realized that the appointments that the mayor has made (LEN BARON) and the infamous (LaBow) are two people who have no idea of what they are doing and are tearing our town apart. They are puppets for someone other then Mayor Suozzi and contaminating any progress that the mayor has tried to precede with.
My personal feeling is that they are intentionally poisoning this administration by proving that they are completely incompetent, and dangerous to the future of glen Cove. They are making Mayor Suozzi look impotent on any positive impact we might have been on our way to achieving. The City is fiscally and internally (OUT OF CONTROL) one dept has no idea of what is going on next door. This City can not continue the way it is.
Dan Moynihan
