Welcome to www.GlenCoveBlog.com. The purpose of this site is to provide a community forum for the discussion of issues that are important to our community. It will only flourish if enough members of the community recognize the potential of a website that will serve as a central forum for discussing all issues facing the community that is open to all viewpoints. It is important to make an effort to keep a steady flow of dialog going. The more controversial the topic, the better.
In order to get the ball rolling, before the official opening of the site, we will be posting general entries for each of several issues we feel are important to the community right now. We will also be contacting various active members of the community to give them authorship rights to the site, which will give them the ability to post entries on the main page. Other members of the community can post comments on any of these entries. If you would like to become an author, or would like to request an entry for a topic not yet addressed, please contact the site administrator at admin@BayvilleBlog.com. If you would like to subscribe to www.GlenCoveBlog.com , simply enter your E-mail address in the window located in the sidebar and you will be notified of any new entries on the main page.
Over the next several weeks, we will be signing up as many authors from the community as possible. Once we have enough to get the ball rolling, we will start a “chain” style e-mail announcement in order to get the word out and attract interest in the site and may distribute flyers at community meetings and events.
It is exceedingly important that all dialog be conducted in a civil manner. I would like to ask that all posts be responsible and based in fact, or identified as rumor, and that they be constructive. Please visit the “Blog Rules” page by clicking the link under “Quick Links” in the side bar. We reserve the right to edit or remove any material deemed inappropriate. The rules of etiquette and common decency apply. Posts deemed inappropriate will be removed. However, we will not censure the opinions and ideas of our community and are not responsible for the content of postings. Please remember that we are all neighbors.
